The frog prince and the Witch

One of my all time favorite stories as a child was the frog prince who had to get a princess to kiss him to turn back again. Loved the golden ball and the eating from the plate and sleeping in her bed.  That was my inspiration for this witch ornament. Thank you for stopping by.

You heard about the old woman who lived in a shoe? How about the witch in a hat.  I had a great time doing these two.  So much fun detail.  The pumpkin witch was a request for one like I did a few years ago.  They both went to the same home.  thanks for dropping by and sharing the fun with me!

STJ Moon box

The update for Spookytimejingles.com was at midnight this morning and I sold this right away but I wanted to share this with everyone. The majority of my work is sold through an email I send out to my customer base when pieces become available.  If you are interested in being on that list just email me and I would be happy to add you(link at right). There is still some wonderful pieces by other artists still available too. I found this fun round box full of seven little boxes and just knew it would be fun to paint each one differently.  Wish I could keep it but bills have to be paid. Sigh...Thanks for stopping by and sharing my art with me.

Blue moon and stars

Just thought I would share a picture of a special commission I received.  I love doing golden moons but it's fun to do the odd blue one.  Love the soft blue color palette to work with too. I think I could do moons forever and never grow tired of them.

A few new things

Just thought I would share a few new things I have recently done.  One is a bowlful of kitties I sold recently on Spooky Time Jingles.  Really fun and loved using old vintage Beistle decorations for faces and limiting the pallet to red, green, yellow and white.    Thanks for stopping by.

Moonlight Magic Tambourine STJ Update

Hello everyone, It's that time again for the Spooky Time Jingle artists to roll out all their wonderful creations.  I am so excited to offer up this fun tambourine.  I love to paint these and it's been awhile since I have done one.  This has over 30 feet of beautiful ribbon on it.  It is a one of a kind original hand painted by me.  No stencils are ever used in my work. Feel free to contact me with questions.
Take care, Tammy

More Moonlight Laughter

I thought I would share a new set of gourd eggs I painted for a customer.  She wanted a set of my moonlight laughter eggs only in non Halloween colors.  I thought they turned out well.  Thank you for stopping by, Tammy.

I'm back! New Cat for Spooky Time Jingles

Hi everyone, After a three month illness, I am finally back in my studio creating.  It feels so good too. I finished up a black cat roly poly I had started months ago and I like him so much I am going to do an owl next!  I did something different on this one by sewing some dyed corn husks together for a collar. It turned out so vintagey! Wait...is that a word? It is now I guess.  Be sure to drop by the Spooky Time Jingles website for the May 13th update. Lots of fun new creations.  Thanks for dropping by and sharing my work with me.

Spookytimejingles update!

I have just finished my Santa for the Spookytime update and I know, Santa? I just had a few more things to finish and I do love making them. The one I will be offering is a nutcracker Santa. The other is one I finished and sold a few weeks ago. Both of these are hand carved wood with a few sculpted details. I love adding all the goodies to them. I hand painted 5 tiny unfinished nutcrackers for the nutcracker Santa and love how they turned out but they took me hours and hours of painting. These are fairly large Santas and the largest is 16" tall. Now on to Valentines day goodies. I have some ideas... Thanks for sharing my art with me!
