Dance by the light of the Moon!

Pumpkin buggy

I have fun making everything I do but this one will always be a favorite!  It just makes me excited for Halloween.  It evokes such a feeling of vintage Halloween .  Something I really love.  The little pumpkin and cat gourds on a stick come out and can be rearranged too.  The little buggy really rolls too. Rolly poly Santa...again

This is a example why I have to sell everything right away.  I had this Santa from last season.  A very nice man had wished to purchase him then had some family problems ( understandable). So I decided to keep him till later this year.  Well as he sat in my studio, I would look at him and think, "this would look better if I did this... or if I add that...".  Pretty soon, he was a new man, LOL.  A better one, I think, too.  I wonder if other artists do that too? He is sold now so he is safe from future face lifts!  thank you for stopping by.

Spooky picture frame

Hi again, I am having so much fun making new Halloween creations!!!  It's not that far away you know.  I just finished this wooden frame with sculpted gourd pumpkin on top and tiny sculpted and painted moons beneath.  The wonderful thing about this is the frame swivels.  How fun is that.  Anything photo can be slipped between the two pieces of glass.  A customer suggested vintage postcards, so I printed off a few to show how great they would look.  This is for sale to the people on my email list right now.  If you would like to be added to get a chance to buy or just look, please click on the witch to the right and send me your address.  I will be happy to add you.  Thanks for sharing my work with me.

The frog prince and the Witch

One of my all time favorite stories as a child was the frog prince who had to get a princess to kiss him to turn back again. Loved the golden ball and the eating from the plate and sleeping in her bed.  That was my inspiration for this witch ornament. Thank you for stopping by.

STJ Moon box

The update for Spookytimejingles.com was at midnight this morning and I sold this right away but I wanted to share this with everyone. The majority of my work is sold through an email I send out to my customer base when pieces become available.  If you are interested in being on that list just email me and I would be happy to add you(link at right). I found this fun round box full of seven little boxes and just knew it would be fun to paint each one differently.  Wish I could keep it but bills have to be paid. Blue moon and stars

Just thought I would share a picture of a special commission I received.  I love doing golden moons but it's fun to do the odd blue one.  Love the soft blue color palette to work with too. I think I could do moons forever and never grow tired of them.

A few new things

Just thought I would share a few new things I have recently done.  One is a bowlful of kitties I sold recently on Spooky Time Jingles.  Really fun and loved using old vintage Beistle decorations for faces and limiting the pallet to red, green, yellow and white.    Thanks for stopping by.
