Here is a few more pieces I took with me as well as my new business/post cards! I had to go back and make a moon man to take with me. The head is a gourd with the features sculpted in paper clay. The base is a very chunky wooden candle holder.
I took 25 ornaments like these pumpkins and sold them all before I got pictures. I should have know better. I did the same with the little gourds on vintage tart pans. I had over 20 of these as well. Oh well, a lesson learned the hard way. Always makes me sad when I don't have a picture of something I made.

Ghoultide fun!
A large (21" across wooden antique Cheesebox. In front is my wooden hand painted car with sculpted witch and stars!
My "Fly me to the moon" wooden car. So fun and it even had a trunk that opened!

This little witch brought a lot little imps to the show to make some trouble. This was hand sculpted over a wooden base. She also was larger at over 15".
I have neglected my blog in the last few months. Preparing and getting ready for the Ghoultide Gathering Show took every minute of my day to get ready for. Above is a few of the things I was able to take with me. I was thrilled when I sold out in under 2 hours. However, I realized I didn't even begin to have enough pieces like most of the other artists. To attend and meet the other artists and get to see all the original art was a dream come true. It is as magical as everyone says. It will always be a highlight of my career as an artist to be invited to ba a part of it all! I was especially touched by the collectors who drove hundreds of miles just to meet me. Some I have known for many many years. I am very blessed!

Up, up and away
I made this fun little hot air balloon with an adventurous black cat awhile ago. Doesn't he just look like he is having fun! He is sold but he fired my imagination so much that I have plans for different ones. Love the idea of a moon balloon and maybe a pumpkin one.

STJ update witch and frog
It's that time again and I am especially proud to introduce my newest sculpture. This was a very intricate and time consuming sculpt for me. Doing and open mouth face is always hard but then I added hands and a charming little frog! Just loved her expression as well. She will be available on the Spooky time Jingles market website on the 13th of April. Please check out all the wonderful art by my fellow artists.

I'm excited about the PFATT marketplace update this month. If you haven't checked out PFATT yet it is a wonderful collection of artists with some of the most unique art pieces that can be found anywhere. You can visit at: Pfatt marketplace I know you will enjoy it. My new pieces this month are Halloween shakers. I love shakers and these
have a lovely sound. They are made using paper clay so they are very sturdy. Each side of the shaker is a hand painted original. Festive ribbons and vintage look crepe paper fringe makes these the perfect addition to your Halloween decorations! Market will update at 10 AM Eastern time.

STJ Witch paddle
It's time for a new update for Spooky time Jingles and this is something brand new for me. It's a spook spanker! Ever wanted someway to protect your self from wicked witches, ghost, and goblins? Well, this is how. This wooden paddle was so fun to paint and I must say, i think the witch face turned out especially well. So wonderfully wicked. You can check out my piece and some others by my fellow artists at: http://www.spookytimejingles.com/

Easter Goose eggs
Here are the rest of my Goose eggs ready for the Pfatt market update on the 10th of this month. These real goose eggs are so fun to paint and 3 times the size of a regular egg. I love vintage Easter postcards and took my inspiration from them. Each little rabbit and duck were painted from photos. They are so pretty all together. I will be selling them separately. Please contact me for more info if interested in purchasing. Thanks for dropping by! Tammy (sold)

Easter goose eggs for Pfatt
The Pfatt marketplace update for February is coming up on the 10th and I am still doing Easter eggs. This is the first of three or four eggs I hope to offer. They are real goose eggs and much sturdier and larger (3 1/2 to 4") than chicken eggs. I painted it with all original hand painting in pretty pastel colors. I then put it in a small vintage wooden bowl with pink German grass. How fun is that? I plan to ask $50.00 each with free shipping. Please contact me if interested and visit my blog for updates on the others I am working on. Thank you for sharing my art with me.

Pfatt and STJ updates
I had two market place updates, Pfatt on the 10th and STJ , today the 13th. Due to technical difficulties with my art lights (aggghhh) I am slow to get this posted. The Easter eggs and Valentine cookies are sold. I am doing happy pieces this month because in Montana its pretty dreary until Spring. These happy little faces just make me smile and lift my spirits. They are all sculpted from paper clay and I am particularly happy with the yawning egg and cookie. How fun is that? I think that is why I called my studio "Light and Shadow". I love to do happy smiling faces but then I love to do old craggy witch faces too. Just depends on mood I guess or inspiration. I am going to be starting some flower seeds here too in a few days. That always lifts my spirits! Thanks for dropping by.
PS I added a picture of my Easter egg gourds before the were painted so an idea of the process can be seen.
